Jeremy Walker is a veteran movie publicist with over twenty years of experience in the industry. Walker and his partner, Judd Stark, founded Jeremy Walker + Associates in 1999.

Equally at home on the set of a movie in production or on the ground at such festivals as Sundance, Toronto and TriBeCa, Walker has created and implemented countless theatrical release campaigns for all kinds of movies.

Walker has served as unit publicist for such titles as Jason Reitman's “Thank You for Smoking,” Duncan Tucker's “Transamerica,” Nicole Kassel's “The Woodsman,” Billy Ray's “Shattered Glass,” David Gordon Green's “Undertow,” Marc Forster's “Monster's Ball,” Mary Harron's “American Psycho” and John Waters' “Cecil B. Demented” and “Pecker.”

Walker 's specialty is helping independent filmmakers prepare and position their work for the increasingly Darwinian independent film marketplace. For example, Walker has worked with director Miguel Arteta and his producer, Matthew Greenfield on all three of their films, “Star Maps,” “Chuck & Buck” and “The Good Girl” as each went to Sundance and secured distribution there. Since founding Jeremy Walker + Associates, he has represented such hot Sundance acquisitions as “Hustle & Flow,” “Open Water,”
Garden State” and “The Cooler” as they went on the market there.

Prior to founding Jeremy Walker + Associates, Walker worked for nearly a decade at Clein + White, which spearheaded publicity campaigns for most of the significant independent films of the 80s and 90s. Walker began as an intern at Clein + White and ultimately became partner in the re-christened company, Clein + Walker, in 1999. As an intern and then as an assistant, Walker learned a tremendous amount as Clein + White handled such titles as “sex, lies and videotape,” “Slacker” and “My Own Private Idaho.” As an account executive at Clein + White, Walker spearheaded publicity campaigns for such films as “The Ice Storm,” “The Full Monty,” “Hoop Dreams,” “When We Were Kings” and for the restoration and re-release of such large-format titles as “My Fair Lady” and Alfred Hitchcock's “Vertigo.”

But the title for which Walker and Clein + White may best be known is “The Blair Witch Project.” Walker began working Haxan Films prior to the movie's world premiere at Sundance and continued working with them and distributor Artisan Entertainment through its record-breaking theatrical run.
