Opening May 23rd, 2007
An IFC FIRST TAKE Release

In THE BOSS OF IT ALL, the new comedy from
filmmaker Lars Von Trier (BREAKING THE WAVES,
THE IDIOTS, DANCER IN THE DARK),
Ravn (Peter Gantzler) is the owner of an IT firm
who wants to sell his business. There is just
one problem: when he started his firm he
invented a nonexistent president to hide
behind when there were unpopular steps
needed to be taken. When potential
purchasers insist on negotiating with the
"Boss" face to face, the owner hires a failed
actor (Jens Albinius, THE IDIOTS) to play the part.
The actor suddenly discovers he is a pawn in a
game that tests his (lack of) moral fiber.

THE BOSS OF IT ALL features a new camera technique called Automavision® that von Trier developed with "the intention of limiting human influence" on filmmaking. Automavision® entails choosing the best possible fixed camera position and then allowing a computer to choose when to tilt, pan or zoom.

The film is not yet rated by the MPAA and runs 99 minutes.
