A Magnolia Pictures Release

A smart action thriller produced by
Luc Besson and set in Paris in the very
near future, DISTRICT B13 imagines a
city of walled ghettos ruled by marauding
gangs. Damien (Cyril Raffaelli), a member
of the police elite task force, an officer in
the special intervention unit and an expert in the
martial arts, is assigned to the most extreme expedition
of his entire career: a weapon of mass destruction has
been stolen by the most powerful gang of District B13. In
order to infiltrate the sector and defuse the bomb, Damien
must join forces with Leïto (David Belle), whose sole goal is
to save his sister, who has fallen into the hands of the same
gang. Luckily, Leito knows District B13 like the back of his hand. Directed by Besson’s long-time cinematographer Pierre Morel, DISTRICT B13’s extraordinary Parkour chase and fight scenes will remind fans of the Thai hit ONG BAK, while the very concept of Paris under siege may remind others of that city’s current social unrest.
